To ensure the greatest value from the funds allocated
for library materials, the library does not normally purchase multiple
copies of a work.
Except for reference works, the library discourages the purchase of
the same work for different branches or departments of the library.
All requests for multiple copies must be accompanied by a memorandum
to the head of the Acquisitions Department stating the specific need.
