During the months of December and January the Ned R. McWherter Library will feature three displays apropos of the recent award of the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Dr. Benjamin L. Hooks, long time civil rights leader, human rights activist, educator, and founder of the Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change at the University of Memphis.
