A Public Lecture by

Paul Canonici

McWherter Library, 4th Floor (outside Special Collections Department)
March 21, 12:00 pm

Paul Canonici is the author of The Delta Italians: Their Pursuit of "The Better Life" and Their Struggle Against Mosquitos, Floods, and Prejudice. He has recently completed another book that will be available the first week of October, So Italian: Traditional Recipes with My Art and Travel Notes. He is collecting material for his third book: Pictures and Profiles of Delta Italians. Canonici visits Italy often, and speaks from first-hand knowledge about Italian society and culture as well as of the Italians of the Mid-South region of the nation. Those interested in genealogy and in Italian culture in Europe and America should plan to attend this fascinating presentation by a most engaging author, artist and traveler. Genealogical information from the audience is welcome and solicited.

The public is encouraged to attend this free program.
