 | | "G.W. Jacobs" (Alonzo Stovall) | "G. W. Jacobs" (Alonzo Stovall) was born in Chicago and now lives in Dallas. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bishop College in Dallas and a Master's degree in Policy Analysis and Urban Affairs from Southern Illinois University. After obtaining his Master's degree he began working for the City of Chicago and then returned to southern Illinois where he began a life advocating for children by working at a social service agency where he placed children with families, an extension of his ministry at a small church in Collinsville, Illinois. Upon relocating to Dallas he worked for another youth advocacy group where he was in charge of program development and analysis. He continues to work on behalf of youth today in Memphis.
Something is amiss in the city of Seaburg, Texas. In this quiet, idyllic bedroom community just south of Dallas, three of its wealthiest citizens and the Deputy Mayor have died under seemingly innocent circumstances. Overseeing the investigation is Lt. Jack Walker, a grizzled police veteran from Chicago. As Lt. Walker and his team continue to delve into the matter, it becomes evident that the central figure in the investigation is the First National Bank of Seaburg, which is closely aligned with the law firm of Chase and Morgan. Chase and Morgan had always been willing to do whatever it took to protect the City of Seaburg. But who is really behind the series of deaths? Who's pulling the strings? "The Legal Hitters" follows Lt. Walker and his team as the issues unfold.
