Friends of the University Libraries

Purpose

The primary purpose of the Friends of the University Libraries is support--especially financial support--of The University Libraries, the University of Memphis.

The Friends and Library Development

The Friends are a key element of the library-development program of the University Libraries. Donors to the Libraries have the satisfaction of knowing that they provide essential support to the educational mission and programs of the University of Memphis through their benevolence to the University's Libraries. Many have chosen to create a memorial to a deceased loved one through the Friends of the University Libraries. Opportunities for supporting the Libraries are numerous. If you would like to learn more about additional giving opportunities, including estate planning, donations via credit card or bank account debit, funded endowments in the name of a chosen individual or entity, please contact:

  • The University of Memphis Development Office @ 901-678-4438, OR
  • Mr. Tom Mendina, Assistant to the Dean of Libraries @ 901-678-4310 or tmendina@memphis.edu
