Friends of the University Libraries

Membership Form (Adobe PDF file)

Those who become members of the Friends of the University Libraries are a vital part of the Friends' mission of support of the University Libraries. The support of the Friends of Libraries contributes significantly to meeting the educational and scholarly goals of the University of Memphis through the purchase of books and other library material and the sponsorship of public programs offered by the library.

Members of the Friends of the Libraries receive the quarterly newsletter, "Compass Points," and are notified of interesting lectures, exhibits and other programs occurring each month. Members are invited to the monthly luncheon and business meeting of the Friends and have full voting privileges at the twice-yearly general membership meetings. Members may also serve as officers or at-large members of the Friends Executive Council, and are encouraged to do so. Library check-out privileges and library tours are also available to Friends members.

For more information on the Friends of the University Libraries please contact Mr. Tom Mendina, Assistant to the Dean of Libraries at 901-678-4310 or tmendina@memphis.egu. Your interest and involvement in the Friends of the Libraries is greatly appreciated.
