Have Skills That Travel!

Remember, to get help selecting a database: use All Databases A-Z on the Libraries' Web site.

If you need business articles, go to the Periodicals and Databases Page and click on Databases by Academic Area and choose Business from the Subject List for a business index. Similarly, for education information, look on the Academic Area list under Education.

And you know how to search InfoTrac OneFile, a general index. What about other article indexes? Won't they look different?
Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to turn on the lights or the radio--you just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look different, article indexes have similar features. Check for help screens or ask a librarian.
