Ask a Librarian

Have a reference question? Ask it online and receive a response at your email address. Questions should be stated clearly and should lend themselves to short answers. This service operates during weekdays only. Questions submitted after 4 p.m. on Friday will be read the following Monday.

This service is primarily for University of Memphis students, faculty, and staff. If you are not affiliated with the University of Memphis, we will answer questions about the University Libraries or collections.

Chat

PLEASE NOTE: Chat has ended for the Spring semester.

For in depth, one-on-one assistance from a reference librarian, consider scheduling a Reference Consultation.

"Ask a Government Information Professional," a national live chat and e-mail service, is now available. Staffed by Federal Documents Librarians from 30 libraries, the service is designed to answer your government information needs.
