Off Campus Access to Library Resources

The University Libraries have a wealth of information resources available electronically via our web site. Due to licensing agreements, off campus access to many of these resources is restricted to University of Memphis students, faculty and staff, Extended Programs, and ROCC students taking classes taught by University of Memphis faculty.

To access the restricted resources, you will be required to select whether you are affiliated with the University of Memphis or Regents Online Campus Collaborative and enter your University of Memphis Universal User ID (UUID) and PH password. This is the same ID and password you use to access your University of Memphis email account. For information about UUIDs and PH passwords, you may visit any TigerLan Lab or call the Information Technology Division Helpdesk at 901-678-8888.

Important Notes:

  • To access these resources from off campus, you must link to them from the University Libraries' web site. If you attempt to connect directly, you will not be prompted for your UUID and PH password, and will not be granted access.
  • Access to a small number of resources requires a different user identification and password. For these passwords, please contact the Reference Desk.
  • If you are on campus, or connect to the Internet from off campus via the University of Memphis' Dialup Service, you will not be asked to enter your UUID or PH password to access library resources.
