Information Sources in BUSINESS
Use tomCat (the U of M Library catalog).
- For subject searches, use Library of Congress Subject Headings such as corporate planning or industrial management or corporations, American. (LC Subject Headings volumes are available in Reference.)
- Also try searching by keywords such as corporate restructuring or corporations japan united states. (Leave out words like in, of, on, and the; AND is assumed between words).
- Video tapes can be located by using videorecording as a keyword.

Moody's changed to Mergent with the publication of the 1999 manuals. Moody's manuals prior to 1987 are in remote storage. The online version (FISonline), searchable by both company name and ticker symbol, provides an integrated interface to company data, history, and SEC and annual company reports. Dates of coverage vary by company, but focus is on recent years.
