Use tomCat (the U of M Library catalog).
- For subject searches, use Library of Congress Subject Headings such as management information systems or information resources management or system analysis. (LC Subject Headings volumes are available in Reference.)
- Also try searching by keywords such as network security or fuzzy control .
(Leave out words like in, of, on, and the; AND is assumed between words).
- Video tapes can be located by using videorecording as a keyword.

Use this database to find computer-related product introductions, news and reviews in areas such as hardware, software, electronics, engineering, communications and the application of technology. Indexes 616 industry and consumer magazines in computers, telecommunications and electronics. Full text is provided for 317 of those periodicals from 1983 to present.

The Government Publications Department, on the first floor of McWherter Library, is a designated depository library for the United States Government and for Tennessee Government. Valuable information produced in print and electronic formats by various federal and state agencies are available here. Staff in the department will assist you in finding and using these resources.
