Overview The Learning Commons will bring together in one location, services and personnel that will work together to enhance learning and research through the use of information resources and information technology. The Learning Commons will offer a more coherent and integrated approach to information support for learning and research and will promote deep learning for both undergraduates and graduate students. The Learning Commons will provide easy access to technology and information resources in ways that will enable students to conduct research, compile papers, prepare presentations, and work collaboratively with classmates. This environment will be enriched by the presence of Librarians and other information professionals who will be available to work with library users to help them identify, locate, evaluate, interpret, and utilize the information resources necessary to support their learning and/or research endeavors.
