DOI Resovler DOIs (digital object identifiers) are found more and more in connection with scholarly articles available online. These strings of code are permanently affixed to articles so that, regardless of how web-sites and URLS may change, articles on the web will remain findable. Use the DOI Resolver to locate articles for which you have a DOI. Type (or copy and paste) the code into the Resolver's search box, and you will be directed to the source of the article. Access to the article depends on institutional subscription rights. DOIs may look like 10.1016/j.physletb.2003.10.071 or 10.1037/0012-1649.43.1.70; however they look they contain information that identifies the article as a unique object.
