Renewals and Returns

Renewals

You have 3 options for renewals. Renewals can be handled by phone, (901) 678-2205, by bringing them to Circulation desk or by sending renewal request via email to lib_circrenewal. Please be prepared to give the barcode numbers off of the books for the items you wish to renew. You may not renew items over the phone or via email if they are over due - you must bring them into the Circulation department.

You may renew items as many times as you like as long as there are no recalls or special requests for the book(s).

Returns

Materials may be returned to Ned McWherter Library, one of the branch libraries (Audiology & Speech Pathology, Chemistry, Math or Music), the book return in front of McWherter, the book return outside of Brister on Alumni drive or the book return located on Central Avenue in fornt of the Music Building. Interlibrary Loan (Ill) materials should not be placed in book returns, they should be returned to Circulation desk. To prevent damage or loss, CDs, Videos and DVDs should not be placed in book returns, but returned to the Circulation department or a branch library.
